Katy Hollister Appointed to First Solar’s Board of Directors

First Solar has elected Kathryn A. “Katy” Hollister as a Member of its Board of Directors, as well as its Audit and Compensation Committees. She is a veteran Deloitte Tax executive, having spent 36 years serving the firm in a variety of roles. Her tenure with Deloitte culminated in her role as Chief Strategy Officer for the Global Tax and Legal practice. Her career with Deloitte focused on leading strategic initiatives and operations across the practice.

First Solar, based in Tempe, AZ, is a manufacturer of solar panels, and a provider of utility-scale PV power plants and supporting services that include finance, construction, maintenance and end-of-life panel recycling. The company’s total revenue for fiscal year 2019 was $3.3 billion, and currently employs 6,400 people.
