Karl Matthiasson Appointed Chief Executive Officer of DT Equipment

DT Equipment has named Co-Founder Karl Matthiasson as Chief Executive Officer. He previously served the company as Chairman and Chief Operating Officer. He has also held roles with HRV Engineering and Verkis. He succeeds founding Chief Executive Officer Sveinn Gudmundsson, who will transition to Chief Technology Officer.

DTE, a global company based in Reykjavik, Iceland, is focused on providing intelligence from liquid metals by combining connected, real-time, chemical composition analysis from molten metals with an artificial intelligence-based cloud platform, the engine of DTE’s metals production ecosystem.
