
John C. Pfeifer to Lead Oshkosh Corporation as President and Chief Executive Officer
Oshkosh Corporation has announced that John C. Pfeifer will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer on April 2, 2021 per the leadership succession plan. Most recently, John served as the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer. Before Oshkosh, John was President of Mercury Marine. He also spent several years with Brunswick Corporation, where his tenure culminated in his roles as Vice President of Brunswick Corporation and Vice President Global Operations for Mercury Marine. Before that, he held various leadership roles with ITT Industries and Cincinnati Milacron. John succeeds Wilson R. Jones, who announced that his retirement as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member will take place on April 2, 2021.
