Jim Long Appointed Chief Administrative Officer of Darling Ingredients

Darling Ingredients has promoted Jim Long to Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, effective March 31, 2021. Jim will then transition out of his current role as Senior Vice President of Canada. He previously spent 27 years with Maple Leaf Foods in various operations executive leadership roles, ultimately serving as Vice President of Manufacturing. Jim will succeed John O. Muse after his retirement.

Darling Ingredients serves the agri-food industry and reduces food waste by collecting and repurposing animal-based co-products and other natural materials. Based in Irving, TX, the company operates a network of over 200 facilities worldwide, staffed by approximately 10,000 employees. For the fiscal year ended 2019, Darling reported net sales of $3.4 billion.
