General Motors Appoints Hector Villarreal as Korean Unit’s President and CEO

General Motors announced the appointment of Hector Villarreal as the President and CEO of its Korean unit, effective from August 1, 2023. Hector Villarreal currently serves as the Vice President of Vehicle Sales, Service, and Marketing at GM Mexico. In his previous roles within General Motors, he has held positions such as President and Managing Director of GM Operations in Uzbekistan, Managing Director of GM Russia, and President of GM Southeast Asia.
