Elke Temme to Head Energy and EV Charging for Volkswagen

Volkswagen Group has tapped Elke Temme as Head of Energy and EV Charging, a newly-created division. She will be tasked with overseeing the company’s energy, charging services, charging equipment, and charging infrastructure initiatives. She joins from RWE/innogy, where she most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of innogy eMobility solutions. She began her career with Commerzbank AG.
The Volkswagen Group with its headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of automobiles and commercial vehicles. The company currently employs around 630,000 individuals worldwide, and posted EUR 252.6 billion in revenue for 2019.
