
Daniel Hopgood Becomes Senior Vice President and Controller for Eaton Corporation
Eaton Corporation has promoted Daniel Hopgood to Senior Vice President and Controller, commencing on April 1, 2021. Over the last nine years, he has held several senior finance roles with the company, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Financial Services and Systems. Daniel will supersede Ken D. Semelsberger, who announced he will retire on March 31, 2021. Prior to Eaton, Daniel served Meritor as Vice President and Controller, Chief Accounting Officer before serving as Vice President of Aftermarket Americas. Earlier in his career, he held roles with MSX International, Delphi Automotive Systems, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Eaton is a diversified power management company, which provides energy-efficient solutions for electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power. The Dublin-based company most recently generated $20.9 billion in annual revenue, and employs roughly 101,000 people.
