Carey Smith Becomes a Member of the Parsons Board of Directors

Parsons Corporation has announced that Carey Smith will join the Board of Directors. Carey currently leads as the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer. She previously served as President of the Federal Solutions business, and became Chief Operating Officer after the company combined the Federal Solutions and Critical Infrastructure businesses together. She joined Parsons from Honeywell Aerospace, where she served in multiple executive roles, ultimately as President of Defense and Space. Prior to that, she served Lockheed Martin in several leadership positions, including as Vice President of Technical Services and President & Chief Executive Officer. Earlier in her career, she gained roles of increasing responsibility with Loral / IBM Federal Systems.
