Susan Somersille Johnson Set to Join Prudential Financial as Chief Marketing Officer

Prudential Financial will welcome Susan Somersille Johnson as Chief Marketing Officer on October 5, where she will report to both Andy Sullivan (Head of US Businesses) and Scott Sleyster (Head of International Businesses). She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Trust Financial, which was formed from the merger of SunTrust Bank and BB&T. Susan’s 25 years of experience will help her lead Prudential’s marketing and brand strategy globally. Susan was recognized as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Corporate America by Black Enterprise magazine two consecutive years, as well as the 2018 Marketer of the Year by Target Marketing Magazine.
