Rachel Lord Appointed BlackRock’s Chair and Head of Asia Pacific

BlackRock has named Rachel Lord Chair and Head of Asia Pacific, effective May 1, 2021. She currently serves the firm as Senior Managing Director and Head of EMEA. Previously, she was the firm’s Head of iShares, EMEA, as well as Head of Global Clients, ETF and Index Investments. She formerly held executive level roles with both Citigroup and Morgan Stanley. Rachel will supersede Geraldine Buckingham, who will continue to serve the company as an Advisor moving forward.
