NatWest Group announces Paul Thwaite as interim Group Chief Executive

NatWest Group’s Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Paul Thwaite as the interim Group Chief Executive.

Paul Thwaite has been with NatWest Group for several years, and he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of NatWest’s Commercial & Institutional ring-fenced bank in July 2022. Prior to this role, he served as the CEO of the Group’s Commercial Banking division starting from November 2019.

NatWest Group, formerly known as the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group, is a British banking and financial services company. It is one of the largest banks in the UK and provides a wide range of banking and financial products and services to individuals, businesses, and institutional clients.
