Mathieu Clavel to be PIMCO’s Head of Private Credit Europe

PIMCO will welcome Mathieu Clavel as Managing Director/Portfolio Manager, Head of Private Credit Europe in 2021. In this new role, Mathieu will lead the European special situations business, develop the deep bench of portfolio management expertise, and assist with attracting talent for the private strategies business. Most recently, Mathieu served as Executive Managing Director, Head of European & Asian Corporate Credit for Sculptor Capital Management.
