Jay Orlandi to Serve as General Counsel for Pacific Life

Pacific Life will welcome Jay Orlandi as its new General Counsel on November 2. Jay was previously Transamerica’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw legal, communications, human resources, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, data analytics, information security, and marketing. Jay will be taking the place of Sharon Cheever, who will be retiring from the company.

Pacific Life Insurance Company is a Newport Beach, CA-based insurance company providing life insurance products, annuities, and mutual funds, and offers a variety of investment products and services to individuals, businesses, and pension plans. Pacific Life reported a net income of $725 million and growth in assets to $171 billion in 2019.
