
Jane Fraser to Lead Citigroup as CEO
Citigroup is set to promote Jane Fraser to Chief Executive Officer in February 2021, making her the first woman to lead a major financial institution in the United States. Jane is currently President of Citi and CEO of Global Consumer Banking. Jane has been with Citigroup for the last 16 years, steadily taking on roles of increasing responsibility during her tenure. She has served Citigroup in such roles as CEO of Latin America, CEO of US Consumer and Commercial Bank and Global Mortgages, and CEO of Citi Mortgage. Jane will be succeeded by Anand Selvakesari, who was recently appointed CEO of Global Consumer Banking.
Citigroup is an American multinational investment bank and financial services corporation headquartered in New York City. For the full year 2019, Citigroup reported revenues of $74.3 billion. The company currently employs approximately 200,000 people.
