IAG Promotes Nick Hawkins to CEO and Managing Director

IAG has selected Nick Hawkins as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. Nick, who joined the company in 2001, previously held the Chief Financial Officer role for IAG after serving as CEO of IAG New Zealand. Beginning November 2, 2020, Nick will supersede Peter Harmer, who recently announced he is retiring as IAG CEO.

Insurance Australia Group Limited (IAG) is the largest general insurance company in Australia and New Zealand. The Group’s businesses underwrite almost $12 billion of premium per annum, selling insurance under many leading brands. The Sydney, Australia-based company announced its net profit was $1.07 billion in 2019.
