HSBC’s Tony Cripps to be Managing Director and Board Member for SABB

The Saudi British Bank (SABB) will welcome Tony Cripps as Managing Director and Board Member on May 23, 2021. He joins from HSBC, where he held several executive leadership roles throughout his lengthy tenure with the company. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Singapore, and has previously held such roles as Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Australia and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Philippines. He began his career serving as a Trader for HSBC, then for Cosight Capital. Tony succeeds David Dew, who recently announced that he will retire in May 2021, but will stay on as an Advisor to the Board through May 2022.
 
SABB, formerly known as the Saudi British Bank, provides a range of banking solutions for individuals and businesses in Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the bank operates through a network of 84 full service branches and 24 ladies sections, with a team of over 3,200 employees.
