
Helen Wong to be Group Chief Executive Officer for Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation
Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC Bank) has promoted Helen Wong to Group Chief Executive Officer, effective April 15, 2021. She currently serves as Deputy President and Head of Global Wholesale Banking for the bank. Prior to rejoining OCBC, she had a 27-year tenure with HSBC, ultimately serving as Chief Executive for Greater China. She began her career with OCBC as a Management Trainee before being promoted to the bank’s first China Desk Manager. Helen supersedes Samuel Tsien, who announced he will retire on April 14, 2021.
