Clifford Abrahams Named Group Chief Financial Officer for Virgin Money UK

Virgin Money UK has hired Clifford Abrahams as Group Chief Financial Officer, effective March 8, 2021, pending regulatory approval. Clifford brings strong experience leading as Group Chief Financial Officer, currently serving in the role for ABN AMRO Bank and previously for Delta Lloyd. He also spent a decade with Aviva, where he earned roles of increasing leadership responsibility, ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer of Aviva Investors. Earlier in his career, he was Managing Director, Financial Institutions for Morgan Stanley. He began his career as a Consultant with L.E.K. Consulting. He succeeds Enda Johnson as Virgin Money UK’s Interim Group CFO.

Headquartered in Edinburgh, UK, the company currently employs approximately 8,700 people. For 2019, the company generated 1.749 billion GBP in revenue.
