Chris Pitt to be promoted to Chief Executive Officer of HSBC’s First Direct

HSBC Holdings announced that Chris Pitt will be promoted to Chief Executive Officer for First Direct. Chris is currently Head of Marketing for HSBC Holdings, but will transition to his new role October 1, 2020, focusing on strategic growth plans for First Direct.

First Direct is a telephone and internet based retail bank division of HSBC Bank plc based in the United Kingdom. They are headquartered in Leeds, England, and have 1.45 million customers
