Chimera Investment Corporation Announces Executive Changes

Chimera Investment Corporation has announced the following changes to its executive team:

• Mohit Marria will be elevated to Chief Executive Officer on January 1, 2021. Mohit will then transition out of his current role as Chief Investment Officer. He will also immediately join the company’s Board of Directors. He will succeed Matthew J. Lambiase.

• Matthew J. Lambiase, President, plans to retire on December 31, 2020. He will maintain his role as a Member of the Board of Directors until the end of the year.

• Choudhary Yarlagadda’s role as Chief Operating Officer will be expanded to include President as well. He will also become a Member of the Board of Directors immediately.

Chimera Investment Corporation is an internally managed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), headquartered in New York City. Its primary investment focus is on residential mortgage loans, asset securitization, and mortgage-related securities.
