Bimaplan Announces Management Appointments

Bimaplan, an insurtech startup backed by Y-Combinator, announced it has appointed Yogesh Gupta as its Chief Business Officer. Yogesh has joined the firm from Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, where he was executive vice-president and chief financial inclusion officer.

Bimaplan operates as an insurance platform. Bimaplan claims to work with insurers to create over-the-counter, low-premium insurance products ($5-50 annually) relevant to the needs of low and middle-income populations.
