Coty Announces Changes to Board of Directors
Coty, Inc. has announced the following changes to its Board of Directors:
- The Board has expanded to now include thirteen directors.
- Mariasun Aramburuzabala has been appointed as a Member of the Board. She will also join the Remuneration and Nomination Committee of the Board. Currently, Mariasun serves as President of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Tresalia Capital. She also holds directorships for several notable companies, including Anheuser-Busch InBev and Grupo Modelo.
- Anna Makanju has been elected a Member of the Board. Anna is presently the Global Policy Manager for Content Regulation for Facebook. She is a global policy expert with experience serving both the United States government and the private sector. Her previous experiences include practicing international law at Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton LLP, in addition to serving as Special Adviser for Europe and Eurasia to then-Vice President (now President-elect) Joseph R. Biden and Senior Adviser to the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
- Paul Michaels has stepped down as a Director after serving on the Board of Directors for the last five years.
Coty is a global beauty company making cosmetic, skin, fragrance & hair brands headquartered in New York, NY. The company currently has a workforce of approximately 19,000 employees. In the 2020 fiscal year, Coty generated approximately $4.72 billion in net revenue.
