Wayfair Announces Changes to Commercial Leadership
Wayfair recently announced the following commercial executive leadership changes:
- Ed Macri, Chief Product and Marketing Officer, announced that he plans to retire in 2021, and will continue to serve on the leadership team until June 30, 2021.
- Following the retirement of Ed Macri, Chief Product and Marketing Officer, the company has announced that Marketing and other Go-to-Market (GTM) functions will now fall under Chief Commercial Officer Steve Oblak’s leadership.
- Bob Sherwin has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. He will report to Chief Commercial Officer, Steve Oblak, under the new commercial leadership organization structure. Bob joined Wayfair as Senior Director of Customer Acquisition before being promoted to his most recent position, Vice President of Marketing. He began his career with McKinsey & Company, serving as Senior Associate and then Engagement Manager.
Wayfair is a Boston, MA-based e-commerce company that sells furniture and home-goods, currently offering more than 22 million products. With more than 17,000 employees, the company reported that total net revenue for fiscal year 2020 totaled $14.1 billion.
