Valerie Jarrett Elected to Ralph Lauren’s Board of Directors

Ralph Lauren Corporation has appointed Valerie Jarrett to its Board of Directors. Valerie is currently Senior Distinguished Fellow at the University of Chicago Law School, as well as a Senior Advisor to the Obama Foundation and media company ATTN. Valerie previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Habitat Company. Her career also includes serving as Deputy Corporation Counsel for Finance and Development in Chicago government, Deputy Chief of Staff for Mayor Richard M. Daley and Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Development. Earlier in her career, Valerie was a lawyer for two law firms. She is currently Chair of When All Vote and Co-Chair of the United State of Women. She also serves as a Board Member for Lyft, 2U, Ariel Investments, Sweetgreen, Time’s Up, the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts and the Economic Club of Chicago.
