Tesco Appoints Guus Dekkers to its Executive Committee

Tesco appointed Guus Dekkers, their Chief Technology Officer, to the Executive Committee. Guus joined in 2018, following a two-year sabbatical. He was previously Chief Information Officer at Airbus and has held IT and technology roles at companies such as Volkswagen AG, Siemens and Continental.
 
Tesco is one of the world’s largest retailers of consumer goods from food to fashion based in England. Over 400,000 people work across their stores, office, distribution and customer engagement centers in the UK, Europe and Asia. As of 2020, its revenue is 64.76 billion GBP.
