Target Announces Executive Promotions
Target Corporation recently announced the following leadership appointments:
- Christina Hennington has been elevated to Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer, and will join the company’s Leadership Team. Over the course of her 18-year tenure with the company thus far, she has held a number of merchandising leadership roles. She has also served in various supply chain functional roles. Earlier in her career, she was a Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
- Rick Gomez has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Food and Beverage Officer. He was most recently Chief Marketing, Digital and Strategy Officer for the company. Previously, he was with MillerCoors as Vice President of Brand Marketing. Prior to that, he was a senior executive with PepsiCo, where his roles included leading as Chief Marketing Officer for non-carbonated beverages. He began his career with Quaker Oats, where he gained functional experience in brand management.
- Cara Sylvester has been elevated to Executive VIce President and Chief Marketing and Digital Officer. Over the last 14 years, she has gained roles of increasing leadership capacity, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Merchandising for Home. She began her career with Deloitte Consulting, where she served as a Manager.
