Rick Silva to Lead Culver Franchising System as Chief Executive Officer

Culver Franchising System has tapped Enrique “Rick” Silva as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 29, 2021. He will be tasked with leading the entire restaurant chain, encompassing 792 restaurants, 496 owner-operators, 31,000 team members and the Culver’s Franchise Support Team. Rick joins from Checkers & Rally’s Restaurants, where he served as Chief Executive Officer for 13 years, spearheading the company’s transformation. Prior to that, he held various executive roles with Burger King, ultimately becoming Senior Vice President of Franchise Operations for the East Zone & Canada. He started his career as an Attorney with Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Rick succeeds Joe Koss, who recently retired as Chief Executive Officer.

Culver Franchising System, doing business as Culver’s, is a privately owned and operated casual fast food restaurant chain headquartered in Prairie du Sac, WI. The company now has over 730 Culver’s restaurants in 25 states, with more than 25,000 team members.
