Navin Tewari to Lead Capital Foods as Chief Executive Officer

Capital Foods has promoted Navin Tewari to Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He joined the company as Chief Executive Officer after serving as Executive Vice President of UltraTech Cement. Prior to that, he held several executive leadership roles with Birla Sun Life Asset Management, ultimately becoming Head of Sales and Marketing. He succeeds Ajay Gupta, who will transition to Non-Executive Chairman of the Board.

Capital Foods is the parent company of Ching’s Secret and Smith & Jones. With several food products across categories like frozen food, ready-to-eat, instant snacking, cook ups, and spices and condiments it is one of the fastest-growing food companies in India. The company is based in Mumbai, India.
