Melissa Smith Becomes Chief People Officer for Focus Brands

Focus Brands has promoted Melissa Smith to Chief People Officer. Melissa has gained roles of increasing leadership responsibility within the human resources function during her time with the company, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. She joined Focus from Church’s Chicken, where she ultimately served as Senior Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. She started her career with AFC Enterprises, where she became Director of People Services.
