Luc Jobin Appointed Chairman of British American Tobacco

British American Tobacco has named Luc Jobin as Chairman, effective April 28, 2021. Luc will become Chairman Designate beginning March 1, 2021 to allow for a smooth transition prior to Richard Burrows’ retirement from the board in April. Luc is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of CN. He previously served Power Corporation of Canada as Executive Vice President. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership roles with Imperial tobacco, ultimately leading the company as President and Chief Executive Officer.
 
British American Tobacco plc manufactures and sells cigarettes, tobacco and other nicotine products. The company, headquartered in London, England, generated 25.88 billion GBP in revenue for 2019 and has over 53,000 employees.
