Laurent Mercier Elevated to Chief Financial Officer of Coty

Coty Inc. has promoted Laurent Mercier to Chief Financial Officer, effective February 15, 2021. Laurent will also join the Executive Committee of the Board. In this new role, he will report to Sue Y. Nabi, Chief Executive Officer. Laurent most recently served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer after initially joining as Chief Financial Officer of the company’s Luxury Division. Prior to Coty, he served Danone for over 20 years in various executive level roles, such as Chief Financial Officer of Evian Volvic German; Chief Financial Officer for Asia, Middle East and Africa; and Head of the European Dairy unit. Laurent succeeds Pierre-André Terisse, who will remain with the company until February 2021 to ensure a smooth transition.
