Karen Whitworth Joins Tesco’s Board of Directors

Tesco has appointed Karen Whitworth as a Non-Executive Director of the Board, as well as a Member of both the Audit and Corporate Responsibility Committees, effective June 18, 2021. In addition to this directorship, Karen also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Pets at Home Group, The Rank Group, Tritax Big Box and Whitworth Corporate Holdings. She is also an Independent Advisor with GrowUp Urban Farms. Karen formerly spent over a decade with J Sainsbury, serving in roles such as Director of Supply Chain Operations and Business Unit Director for Non Food Grocery. She previously served in leadership roles with TuneTribe and IHG. Karen began her career as an Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
