
Juergen Esser Appointed Danone’s Chief Financial, Technology and Data Officer
Danone S.A. has promoted Juergen Esser to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial, Technology and Data Officer. He will join the company’s Executive Committee, and will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Emmanuel Faber. Juergen has spent the last two decades with Danone, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of Waters and Africa divisions. Juergen’s other roles with the company include: International Treasury Director, Director of Business Development for Dairy, Regional Finance Directors for Waters business, and Finance Director for Evian Volvic World. He began his professional career as an Auditor with PwC. Juergen succeeds Cécile Cabanis, Executive Vice President Finance, Technology and Data, Cycles & Procurement, who will be leaving the company in February 2021.
