Joris Huijsmans to be Chief Human Resources Officer for The Carlsberg Group

The Carlsberg Group has promoted Joris Huijsmans to Chief Human Resources Officer, commencing on January 1, 2021. Joris will be tasked with leading global human resources for the company in addition to serving as the Human Resources Business Partner to ExCom. Joris has served the company in several capacities since joining in 2016, but most recently served as Managing Director of Carlsberg Export and License. He is a consumer industry veteran, having previously held roles with Heineken and Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma. He began his career as a Civil Law Lawyer.

The Carlsberg Group is one of the leading brewery groups in the world, with a large portfolio of beer and other beverage brands. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, the company currently employs over 40,000 people and sells products in over 150 markets.
