
Dr. Claudia Coplein to be Tyson Foods’ First Chief Medical Officer
Tyson Foods will welcome Dr. Claudia Coplein as Chief Medical Officer on January 4, 2021. In this newly-created role, Claudia will spearhead employee protection during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as enhance the health, safety and wellness culture across the company. Claudia will also be responsible for the launch of Marathon Health Clinics. She will report to Johanna Söderström, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to Tyson, Claudia served as Head of Health & Wellness and Chief Medical Officer for MassMutual. Prior to that, she served Dow for over a decade, ultimately as Chief Human Resource Officer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Aviation. Her earlier career encompassed roles with Huhtamaki and Ericsson.
