Ava Harter Joins Whirlpool as Chief Legal Officer

Whirlpool Corporation has hired Ava Harter as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, commencing on December 1, 2020. She will also join the company’s Executive Committee. In her new role, Ava will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Marc Bitzer. Previously, Ava was Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary with Owens Corning. She also formerly served Taleris America as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Her earlier career includes roles with General Electric, The Dow Chemical Company, Jones Day and Thompson Hine.
