Alexander Wynaendts Joins Uber’s Board of Directors

Uber Technologies has elected Alexander Wynaendts as a Member of its Board of Directors, as well as the Audit Committee. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for both Citigroup and Air-France KLM. He is the former Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Aegon, where he spearheaded restructurings and geographical expansions throughout his tenure.

Uber Technologies, commonly known as Uber, offers vehicles for hire, food delivery, package delivery, couriers, freight transportation, and, through a partnership with Lime, electric bicycle and motorized scooter rental. The San Francisco, CA-based company generated $14.15 billion in revenue in 2019, and employs 22,000 people.
