El director general tiene la responsabilidad de dirigir la organizaci\u00f3n, inspirar al equipo, tratar con los inversionistas, impulsar la innovaci\u00f3n, reducir costos, gestionar crisis y mantener la moral... todo al mismo tiempo. Sin duda, es un puesto de gran responsabilidad, visibilidad e influencia, pero tambi\u00e9n de profundo aislamiento.<\/p><p>Como confirman sistem\u00e1ticamente las investigaciones, la posici\u00f3n en la cima puede ser extraordinariamente solitaria, lo que tiene un impacto significativo en el rendimiento y la toma de decisiones.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/section><ol class=\"kgs-numberlist-pri custom-numberlist\"><li class=\"kgs-numberlist-pri__item custom-list-item\"><p>Mientras que\u00a0<span class=\"ct-new-ft\">25%<\/span>\u00a0de los directores generales informan de que se sienten solos con frecuencia.,\u00a0<span class=\"ct-new-ft\">55%<\/span>\u00a0reconocer que experimenta episodios moderados pero significativos de soledad<sup>1<\/sup><\/p><\/li><li class=\"kgs-numberlist-pri__item custom-list-item\"><p>La soledad no se debe a la falta de relaciones sociales, sino a \u201cla pesada carga que suponen el liderazgo y la toma de decisiones\u201d.\u201d<\/p><\/li><\/ol><section id=\"section0\" class=\"kgs-scroll-section\"><div class=\"ct-mrg-100\"><p>Este aislamiento no es solo emocional, sino tambi\u00e9n estructural. El director general no puede compartir ciertas dudas con la junta directiva. No puede mostrar vulnerabilidad ante su equipo. Y rara vez encuentra verdaderos compa\u00f1eros con los que pueda discutir abiertamente los dilemas m\u00e1s complejos de su cargo. Como resultado, muchas decisiones se toman en una c\u00e1mara de eco, sin comentarios genuinos, perspectivas diversas o espacio para el cuestionamiento estrat\u00e9gico.<\/p><p>Una soluci\u00f3n emergente que est\u00e1 ganando terreno es el consejo asesor personal, un consejo informal de asesores de confianza elegidos espec\u00edficamente para apoyar al director general.<\/p><\/div><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-48eb020 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"48eb020\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Un modelo emergente: el consejo asesor personal del director general<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b62965e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b62965e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>En Estados Unidos, Reino Unido y algunas partes de Asia, cada vez son m\u00e1s los l\u00edderes que crean consejos asesores personales, es decir, consejos informales formados por asesores de confianza, mentores o compa\u00f1eros estrat\u00e9gicos seleccionados personalmente por el director general.<\/p><p>A diferencia de un consejo de administraci\u00f3n formal, este grupo no tiene ninguna responsabilidad fiduciaria ni agenda pol\u00edtica. Su funci\u00f3n es escuchar, cuestionar, asesorar y apoyar al l\u00edder en una relaci\u00f3n basada en la confianza y el desarrollo continuo. Un consejo personal suele estar formado por entre tres y cinco miembros cuidadosamente seleccionados \u2014antiguos miembros del consejo, fundadores, l\u00edderes del sector o coaches ejecutivos con experiencia\u2014 con experiencia vivida, integridad y capacidad para cuestionar el pensamiento.<\/p><p>Plataformas como BoardX (EE. UU.) y The Supper Club (Reino Unido) han estado promoviendo este tipo de estructura de una manera m\u00e1s sistem\u00e1tica, conectando a directores generales con antiguos ejecutivos, inversionistas, fundadores y expertos en la materia. Pero incluso sin estas plataformas, muchos l\u00edderes ya est\u00e1n creando de manera intuitiva sus propios consejos personales y reportando claros
